Deborah & Antoine, the husband and wife team, met in 2010 while working for Joseph Dirand Architecture in Paris.
Antoine Vauclare, a born and raised Parisian, received his architecture degree in 2000 from L’école d’Architecture de Paris Val de Seine. He worked with various agencies, including Les Ateliers Jean Nouvel before joining Joseph Dirand in 2005, where he was the office director for 17 years.
Deborah Vauclare is an American designer from New York. In 2010, after receiving a Master of Science in Interior Design from Pratt Institute, she won a nationwide competition to work for Joseph Dirand Architecture, spending over 10 years with the firm.
Deborah & Antoine worked on an array of residential, hospitality, and retail projects. Some of the most notable projects are Grovernors Square Hotel London, The Surf Club Miami, Monsieur Bleu Restaurant Paris, Le Jardinier and Shun restaurants in New York, Balmain Paris, Pucci New York, Balenciaga Tokyo, as well as residences for private clients and custom furniture.
In 2024, the couple launched their own architecture and design studio. Growing up in 2 of the greatest cities, New York and Paris, and both traveling the world from young ages, has given Deborah & Antoine a vast and versatile design approach; one that is multi-faceted, striving to create one-of-a-kind spaces and objects.
